- jumped a fence, overcompensated my jump ending in me falling on my back
- said goodbye to the Cannon
- saw E longer than expected
- 3 shows per day, starting off by nearly biting my pinkie off
- will be on the way to Birmingham Friday evening
well, on the fence jumping, all i can say is that I had a good time at this bar/grill called "Mustang Sally's"...Bax and I decided to go to Waffle House which happened to be across the highway. there was a fence and it was after midnight and if i see a fence, i'm going to jump it no matter what. i reached for the fence, jumped too high while still holding on to the fence resulting in me falling on my back. it didn't hurt, but i did scrape parts of my body on the fence and lost my glasses. i couldn't find my glasses after that. i had to go back to the Waffle House the next day in order to find my glasses in the parking lot.
Cannon was our substitute SM for the past two weeks. it was awesome to get to know the Cannon.
later on, we moved on Carrollton, GA. over the weekend, E came by. i only expected her to stay for the day, but unfortunately she was in an accident only a mile or so away from the hotel. she's alright and all the business that had to be done was done, but it was good to see her for an entire day.
after that, it was about time for business. three shows per day for about three days in a row. i'm not going to complain about it, but the other weeks thus far were light work weeks, maybe about 5 shows per week. this week has just been nuts and I simply wasn't in the shape to handle it at the time. no worries though...i did get in shape quickly.
but that still doesn't explain the pinkie biting incident. the very first show on tuesday i did it. there's a moment in the show in which i juggle while eating an apple. the apple is small and my hand is the exact opposite...and before you know it..."crunch!" i look down at my hand and notice my pinkie gushing blood in front of 200 hundred school children and their teachers. i don't think any of them noticed.
but to let you know, i cracked my nail. i bit so HARD that i cracked my fingernail. that's pretty hard, yo.
*unrelated note that i feel that i should share: I listen to MC Hammer's Turn This Mutha Out to get me crunk before the show...i don't really know why, but it does the job*
anyway...next subject: we have a whole weekend to get to louisville, ky. so why not go to birmingham for the weekend, eh?
i think it will be fun.
