prime time in the chi

well, it's one day after the holiday, but happy easter. for some people, it was definitely happy steve harvey suit day.

i would have rocked a new suit...maybe even a shiny suit a la sean "diddy" combs.

but enough of the holiday, we gotta do another update.

the past week has been something else. last monday, we had a show in ohio and indiana, at the same time.

union elementary school. the halfcourt line of this gym is the state line between indiana and ohio. i did have the joyous occasion of making a shot on the ohio side from indiana, of course there is no proof. but during this show, something happened, i pulled my hamstring and it was the worst feeling i have ever had in life. luckily, that was the last show of the week.

tuesday, i flew to massachusetts for rehearsal with the new guy, mr t. the very moment i get to massachusetts, i had rehearsal. it really sucked just because i was hurt and my ears were still popping. it also sucked because i'm a little tired of rehearsal. i hold the record for most rehearsals at FoodPlay.

i had some fun with a pair of hands
and there was some partying involved during the week, and it was fun and all...but i want to get back into the show. i must say, that hanging out with the local troupe was fun, but i'm officially at war with them (it is a friendly battle though).

speaking of which, i'm in Chicago, IL. april is national soybean month and this leg of our tour is sponsored by the illinois soybean association. so in other words Soy Tour 2009 aka ST09.

so, we're crunk for ST09!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really want to check out more of the city while i'm here. i've been in the chi once before a few years back, but i need to have more fun...

in fact, i think i'm going to do that now.

peace out
