california was great, the weather wasn't really what i expected, but you can't choose the weather. if i could, everyone would complain about the weather because i like it hot...like ungodly hot...and humid.
anyway, we are currently on day 3 of the trip back to massachusetts. the driving has been long...real real real long, and dealing with the time zones differences has proved to be something else. sometimes it helps (like late at night, but my body's still on pacific daylight time), sometimes it hurts (like early in the morning in indiana and my body's on pacific daylight time). today/tonight we're going to stop in erie, pennsylvania and hopefully make to massachusetts in time for dinner tomorrow.
then it will be one last show.
tour has been fun. i've made some new friends and met a lot of people. i feel as though i have affected many lives and made a lot of people laugh and smile.
will i miss it? of course i will, but i'll be back in september.
i feel as though all of this has been time well spent, but it's about time to recharge my battery. it's time to see some old faces. time to see the folks that i love, care about, and the ones that i sometimes can't stand...everything in doses.
i need to get a job for the summer. i'm going to alabama for who knows how long. i may get some work down there for a while. as far as work goes, i need something consistent that probably requires little brain activity.
anyway, i'm going to take some time right after the tour to reconnect with some of you out there and even create a flickr account (or something of that nature) so those of you without a facebook account can see my pictures.
in other news, my mother has a facebook account. i find it peculiar, but still "go 'head mom!"
randomness: ipods are so great for long drives.
even though this blog entry is entitled "The END", it will not be the end of this whole blog experience. consider it more of the end of season 1, and season 2 will be a definite improvement...an upgrade, version 2.0 if you will.
until then, later days.
