blog number 2 of the day...the dream merchant edition
so if you are into sports, you may have checked out the whole rick pitino story, oh wait i'm sorry, i mean the rick pitino "indiscretion".
if you don't know, then I'll summarize
married man with kids got busy with another woman in a restaurant restroom
few weeks later she says she's pregnant and doesn't have insurance
he gives her money
a few years later, she tries to extort $10million from him.
because of the extortion, the details about the affair came out.
which leads me to my dream...
the setting: rick pitino's press conference.
instead of apologizing for his indiscretion, he steps to the mic and says...
"step off, i'm doing the hump" (pay attention to the lyrics of the song)
after that, he puts on a pair of fake glasses with large nose and digital underground emerges from a trap door, and a disco ball flies in as digital underground and rick pitino perform "the humpty dance"
all of the reporters drop their recorders and start dancing.
the press conference turns into a house party. and then we hear pitino scream "let's get stupid!!"
bear in mind that if any of this actually happened, rick pitino would be fired from louisville on the spot, and probably be blackballed from basketball.
