Run For It, Run For It, Run!

*somber note, just found out Leslie Neilsen died. Young people, do yourselves a favor and watch Airplane*

Thanksgiving has came and gone by now. I ate a lot with my family for the first time in a while. I think it was my first Thanksgiving with them in about 2 years. Being with my family made me realize even more that change happens. Here are some of the changes that happened while I was away from home (about 11 months):

the driveway has been paved
new furniture
new carpet
new stove
my parents eat turkey bacon/sausage (once ate the whole pig if available)

With that said, I believe that it's time for me to go through a change. With that said, I've decided to take my talents to South Beach...no, but seriously I've been inspired.

Inspired to do what?

Well, two cast-mates ran a half marathon on Thanksgiving day which involved a lot of training.  I've always thought about doing something like that, and now I feel so inspired to do so. I am now training to run a half marathon. Today I ran 5.22 kilometers...I guess that's not bad for the first day of training.  This half marathon will take place in April so I have plenty of time to do this, right?

I think this will be a great challenge for me. I can say that I've done something amazing before I turn 30 (I have well over a year before that happens). So hopefully, some entries will be about my running. I've never ran for distance, I've ran for like 45min before so once I start calculating distance, I will be amazed.

Deuces.
